Rising Star Christian Garrett: Christian Garrett, the standout junior four-star defensive lineman from Prince Avenue Christian football, is making waves in the collegiate recruitment scene. With an impressive 15 scholarship offers, Garrett has caught the attention of notable programs like Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, South Carolina, Auburn, and Vanderbilt, among others. This junior athlete expressed gratitude for the recognition, acknowledging the rewarding feeling of seeing his hard work pay off.

Recently, Garrett had the opportunity to witness the intensity of the Iron Bowl between Alabama and Auburn at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama. Describing the experience as “awesome” and witnessing one of college football’s greatest rivalries, he appreciated the grit and high-level play of the teams.

In addition to the Iron Bowl, Garrett has embarked on visits to Knoxville, Tennessee, twice, witnessing the Volunteers’ victory over Texas A&M in October and Georgia’s visit in November. He also attended the Florida State game at Clemson and experienced a memorable night at Sanford Stadium when Georgia faced South Carolina.

Despite keeping his options open, Garrett is giving every college a fair chance to impress him early in the recruitment process. While all schools are under consideration, a couple have already stood out in his mind.

On the field, Garrett has been a force for Prince Avenue, contributing to their strong 12-1 record. With four sacks, 13 quarterback hurries, 68 total tackles, four pass breakups, and an interception this season, his athleticism, size, and rare motor have not gone unnoticed by his coaches and teammates. As Prince Avenue advances in the GHSA state semifinals, Garrett’s performance continues to capture the attention of college recruiters.
