Elsie Harris emerged as a standout performer for JSU, contributing 23 points off the bench, along with eight rebounds and three assists.
Despite the loss, JSU head coach Rick Pietri acknowledged the team’s competitive spirit and highlighted missed opportunities at the end of regulation. Pietri expressed optimism, stating, “The encouraging thing is that while they were steamrolling us on the offensive end (in the second half), we were at least competing and making plays to balance it out on our offensive end.”
