Huntsville Teen Tragic Updates: HUNTSVILLE, Ala. In a press conference on Friday, Huntsville Police shared updates on the case of missing 15-year-old JaMarious Logan.
The heartbreaking discovery of remains believed to be Logans was made on Thursday in Sylacauga, AL.
Logan was last seen at the LR Patton apartment complex on Sept. 25, and his disappearance was reported to Huntsville Police on Sep. 27. During that period, investigators lacked credible information about Logans whereabouts and companions.
Charges of capital murder were filed on Friday against 33-year-old Latorrie Gaddis in connection to Logans death. Gaddis was apprehended in Alexander City by The U.S. Marshals Services Gulf Coast Regional Task Force. Additionally, Gaddis was already wanted by HPD for two second-degree assault warrants.
A hindering prosecution warrant has been obtained for Gaddis wife, 34-year-old Deserea Cunningham. Authorities took her into custody on Friday afternoon, booking her into the Talladega County Jail. She is slated to be extradited back to Huntsville and booked into the Madison County Jail at a later date.
Charges of kidnapping related to Logans disappearance have been filed against Latoya Wells, 37, and Corie Wilson, 33. Both individuals will be booked into the Madison County Jail.
The confirmation of the remains as Logans and the determination of the official cause of death will be established through an autopsy.
