Wawa Southern Charm: Wawa, the beloved convenience store chain from the Mid-Atlantic and Florida, marked the beginning of its journey in Mobile with a groundbreaking ceremony at 7095 Cottage Hill Road, Mobile, AL 36695.
Wawa plans to build 7 to 10 stores
In a strategic move earlier this year, Wawa unveiled its ambitious expansion plan, targeting the development of 7 to 10 new stores in the Mobile and Baldwin county region. The inaugural stores, set to welcome customers in 2024, encompass the Mobile Cottage Hill Road location and the Fairhope store at 18968 Greeno Road. Construction at the Fairhope site kicked off in June, laying the foundation for Wawa’s growing presence in the area.
We couldnt be more thrilled to break ground in Mobile and celebrate with our newest soon-to-be neighbors! We appreciate the warm welcome and look forward to serving the Alabama community for many years to come!
