Tuscaloosa overtime tickets and toys for tots

Tuscaloosa residents, here’s a festive deal! Pay off an $18 city overtime parking ticket by donating a toy to Toys for Tots. A toy valued at $10 or more clears the fine, and if it’s $20 or more, it covers two tickets. Bring your toys to Tuscaloosa Municipal Court at 2122 6th St. before December 6.

Don’t forget the receipt or a price tag showing the value. Let’s top last year’s collection of 696 toys and spread some holiday joy!

“Toys for Tots donations in lieu of parking tickets is a great way we can be innovative in our community and make a difference at the same time.”

Tuscaloosa Mayor Walt Maddox
