Savor Culinary Excellence: Explore The Eatery Vibrant and Varied New Menu for an Elevated Dining Experience

Savor Culinary Excellence: If you find yourself in Tulsa yearning for distinctive flavors and contemporary, hearty cuisine, The Eatery in Bartlesville is a hidden gem. Chef Marjorie Hackler strives to offer something unique for the area, and the new menu selections truly bring big-city flavors to this small city.

During a recent visit, I had the pleasure of exploring the latest additions suggested by a friend who’s a dedicated Eatery fan. The chipotle chicken sandwich and the Cuban sandwich stole the show, each a delightful blend of flavors and textures.

However, the star of the culinary experience was the khachapuri, a Middle Eastern street food dish. Picture warm, fluffy bread enveloping buttery, melty cheese, crowned with a perfectly poached egg yolk. It’s an exotic yet comfortingly familiar combination that left me craving more.

Chef Hackler’s passion for crafting exceptional sandwiches was evident in the chipotle chicken creation, featuring cheddar, maple bacon, Alabama white sauce (their take on barbecue sauce), and chipotle-flavored chicken on a brioche bun. The attention to detail and balance of flavors showcased her dedication to creating satisfying bites.

Equally impressive was the Cuban sandwich, a symphony of roast pork, ham, provolone, dijonnaise, and house-made pickles on a toasted brioche bun. Quality is paramount for Chef Hackler, who emphasizes the importance of satisfying, high-quality food over mere fanciness.

The following day, I returned to savor The Eatery’s French fries with aioli, a crispy delight served piping hot with a sprinkling of fresh herbs. The garlic aioli dip added a creamy dimension to the fries, creating a memorable culinary experience.

Don’t miss the selection of baked goods, with the Earl Grey muffin standing out for its subtle bergamot flavor and citrus notes. The Eatery also caters to dietary preferences, offering gluten-free options and experimenting with gluten-free sandwich bread.

Located at 324 S Johnstone, The Eatery is open Monday through Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., with lunch served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Whether you’re seeking a mid-morning treat, a satisfying lunch, or a delightful dessert, The Eatery has something exceptional to offer. Bon appétit!
