San Antonio Unites in Solidarity: Prayers and Support for Israel at Temple Beth-El

San Antonio Unites in Solidarity: On a calm Monday night, people from all over San Antonio came together at Temple Beth-El to show their support and harmony. Their goal was to show our unwavering support for and prayers for the people of Israel who are being attacked.

Almost 200 kind people blessed the sad service. Their goal was to sincerely plea for peace and a quick end to the conflict between Israel and Gaza. Their prayers went out to people in their neighbourhood who were hurting and needed comfort and help from God, like a comforting hug.

This group of people included Yair Griver, a man with deep Jewish roots. His family has long been in this strong country and still has strong ties to it. He talked about the scary things some of his friends were going through with a sad heart as if he were in a nightmare that would never end.

“Unfortunately, I lost friends’ children and nieces and nephews this past weekend,” Griver said with sadness. The boyfriend of my cousin’s niece has been taken from him, which worsens things.

Robert Smith stayed with this group of like-minded people to support his wife’s beliefs. He said with a deep sense of hope, “We pray and hold on to the faith that the United States will continue to stand by Israel.”

People from the world of elected leaders attended the event, showing how influential and dedicated they are. They said they would actively reach out to the community’s hurt members to try to fix the pain and confusion that had befallen them.
