Sam Asghari Steals the Show in “Special Ops: Lioness” with Impressive Cannonball Jump

Sam Asghari: In the latest episode of “Special Ops: Lioness,” an action-packed spy show on Paramount+, Iranian-American model, actor, and fitness teacher Sam Asghari steals the show with a cannonball jump into a swimming
pool.

Asghari, who is also known as Mr. Britney Spears, shows off his impressive body in his first scene as Kamal in the post-9/11 thriller written by Taylor Sheridan of Yellowstone. He has more muscles than lines of speech.

Nicole Kidman, who plays CIA senior supervisor Kaitlyn Meade, Zoe Saldana, who plays CIA officer Joe, and Morgan Freeman, who plays Secretary of State Edwin Mullins, all appear on the same screen with
Asghari. This shows that he can hold his own in the big leagues of acting.

Just three months after his wedding to Britney Spears in June 2022, Asghari shared an article from Variety on his Instagram to say that he had been cast in the show. In “Lioness,” Kamal is presented as a womanizer who never apologizes, which makes the show more interesting. A fun fact is that Asghari calls his wife Britney Spears “my lioness.”

In the TV show, Kamal plays Aaliyah’s (Stephanie Nur) playboy friend. Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira) goes undercover as Zara and meets Aaliyah as part of the Lioness program. She wants to get close to Aaliyah’s billionaire father, who has ties to terrorists, so she can stop his planned attack.

During a pool party, Kamal meets Zara in a playful way before doing his famous cannonball, which soaks everyone, including Aaliyah’s friends. One of the friends even says out loud that he doesn’t understand why it seems like only “jerks” get the best bodies.

Even though Kamal is only in a few scenes, he adds a lot of excitement and emotional connections. He is the mysterious brother of Aaliyah’s fiance and the best friend of Sami, played by Adam Budron, a dangerous waste of a trust fund who gets in trouble after trying to attack Cruz.

Aaliyah says that Kamal’s life is like a soap show because it’s full of her best friends and a bunch of short-term relationships.

As the story of “Special Ops: Lioness” keeps getting more interesting, Asghari’s performance as Kamal adds a layer of depth that makes the spy drama even more interesting.
