Rep Lauren Boebert: Removed from Beetlejuice Musical Politics, Fame, and Theatrics Unite

Rep Lauren Boebert: Security video caught something strange that happened to Rep. Boebert during a performance of “Beetlejuice” in Denver. Boebert and a guest were reportedly removed from the theater after the event.

While Boebert wasn’t mentioned, the theater’s statement did say they were asked to leave for being disruptive. They were accused of smoking, singing, using cell phones, and causing discomfort.

Boebert’s campaign manager said the theater asked her to leave but denied smoking. Boebert’s campaign head, Drew Sexton, says she supports the arts and enjoys singing and laughing at the theater.

It happened during Boebert’s re-election campaign in Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District, covering the western half of the state. She’s in Congress for the second time. Boebert is a prominent figure in national politics known for her media presence and combative nature. In 2022, she interrupted President Biden’s speech to Congress. It was one of her acts.

Boebert and her friend argued with theater staff, saying things like, “Do you know who I am?” and “I’ll call the mayor.” The theater stated this in a release.

Boebert urged people to watch the musical and asked for feedback on its conclusion.

Despite the worker’s threat to involve the police, the situation worsened. When they saw the police, they left the theater.

The AP’s security film didn’t show Boebert vaping.

This event has brought Boebert back into the spotlight, showcasing the complexities of politics, fame, and public behavior in a Broadway musical.
