Netflix Certified Google TV Projector: Formovie, a Chinese company in the Xiaomi Mi family, created the Xming Page One projector. It’s notable for being the first LCD smart projector with Google TV. It also has Netflix, rare for home projectors. The crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo was successful, so that the projector will ship in November.
It’s 1080p and can display images up to 120 inches diagonally. It has a throw ratio of 1.25:1, plays HDR10, and has a 2,000:1 contrast. The LED light source emits 300 ANSI lumens, so the room should be dimly lit for optimal viewing. This projector lasts up to 20,000 hours. Users can stream material over Wi-Fi with dual-band capability. Google TV is a feature with thousands of apps. The Chromecast integration and authorized Netflix installation improve streaming. Google Assistant, voice-controlled, is also included.
The Page One has a MediaTek chip, 2 GB RAM, and 16 GB storage. It features an HDMI 2.1 port (with audio return), a USB 2.0 Type-A port, and a headphone jack. With “ultra-low” input lag, gamers can enjoy a 60 Hz frame rate at full resolution. It has a built-in cooling device to keep noise below 30 dB.
Two 5-W speakers in a Dolby Audio sound system powered by Boston Audio play rich music. Users can connect to wireless speakers via Bluetooth 5.0 for improved sound. The projector is a little trimmed or heavy. It measures 207.4 x 190.5 x 127.4 mm and weighs over 2 kg. Since it lacks a battery, it must be near a power outlet.

Since October of the previous year, the projector has been developing under the Xming name. It has features like autofocus, auto keystone adjustment, and picture resizing for easy use. Despite successful funding on Indiegogo, the $299 starting price reminds backers of crowdfunding risks.
