Luciano Sanchez Injured: Buenos Aires (AP) Argentinos Juniors’ 29-year-old sturdy defender Luciano Sánchez had his left knee fully dislocated on Tuesday during a tense Copa Libertadores match in Buenos Aires. A game accident caused this unfortunate event. Marcelo, a veteran Fluminense left defender, inflicted the injury. Two players collided, injuring themselves. Sánchez’s teammates initially thought he shattered his leg. A club-released medical evaluation showed how severe the dislocation was.
Marcelo, a former Real Madrid player, was sent off with a red card during a sorrowful event. Both injured Marcelo clearly. It happened in the 56th minute of a tense game that ended 1-1.
Sánchez’s recovery at Sanatorio Finochietto could take eight to twelve months, according to doctors. His injuries were severe. Local media reported this.
