Killen Police Officer Accused of Sexual Assault: Lauderdale County, Alabama – In a shocking turn of events, a Killen Police Officer faces serious charges after allegedly committing sexual assault during a routine traffic stop on November 12.

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office was alerted to the incident when Crestwood Medical Center reported a distressing revelation from a female patient. According to the victim, she was sexually assaulted by a Killen Police Officer during a traffic stop. Promptly, investigators traveled to Huntsville to gather a statement from the victim.

Recognizing the gravity of the situation, investigators collaborated with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) to conduct a thorough inquiry into the alleged sexual assault involving a police officer while on duty.

Subsequent investigations yielded substantial evidence, prompting the case to be presented to the Lauderdale County Grand Jury, which was actively in session.

Following a comprehensive review of the evidence, the Grand Jury, on November 17, True Billed the case. The indictment was issued against Killen Police Officer Jarrod Webster, charging him with Rape in the First Degree and Sodomy in the First Degree.

In response to the charges, Webster was apprehended at the Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Office and subsequently transported to the Lauderdale County Detention Center. Under Aniah’s Law, he will be held without bond pending a hearing at a later date.
