Huntsville Majestic Living Christmas Tree: The tradition of the Living Christmas Tree is alive and well in Huntsville as First Baptist Church embarks on assembling their 39-foot tree. This iconic tree serves as the centerpiece for a choral and orchestral presentation of Christmas music, featuring over 100 singers from around the world.

The Living Christmas Tree Choir, which has been practicing since Labor Day, comprises around 160 individuals positioned both on the tree and in surrounding areas. Approximately 50 members will contribute to the orchestra, creating a harmonious and festive musical experience.

Aaron Jackson from First Baptist Church shared that the assembly of the Living Christmas Tree is a collaborative effort involving some 75 individuals who contribute to the structural setup, greenery decoration, and the intricate process of lighting the tree. The assembly process typically takes around three days, showcasing the dedication and meticulous planning that goes into creating this holiday spectacle.

The Living Christmas Tree shows are scheduled to begin on December 14th, with tickets available for those eager to witness the musical extravaganza. Additionally, for those unable to attend in person, the Living Christmas Tree performance will be broadcast on WAAY 31 News on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, allowing a broader audience to partake in the festive celebration.
