The Hero 12 Black has HyperSmooth 6.0 + AutoBoost, stabilizing video footage even during intense movement. The Horizon Lock keeps the horizon level, giving filmmakers more freedom. Horizon Lock is impossible in 5.3K60, 4K120, 2.7K240, and 1080p240 modes.

GoPro is developing extras, including a 48-inch extension pole that folds to 10 inches, offering more photo angles. A waterproof Bluetooth shutter remote will be available in October.
