Trump and his colleagues were accused of erasing security video from secret box storage rooms in the new indictment. They also tried to get an unknown person to erase Mar-a-Lago Club security camera footage to prevent its presentation to a federal grand jury.
De Oliveira told “Trump Employee 4” that Trump wanted the server to be erased. This was a terrible thing to find out. Trump and Walt Nauta have already been charged with obstruction of justice for handling secret information after Trump left office.
The grand jury is now charging that secret national defense information was kept and shared in the wrong way on purpose. In 2021, Trump is said to have talked with golf club guests about plans for a military attack on Iran.
Trump and Nauta said they didn’t do anything wrong, and they think the probe is just a way to stop Trump from running for president again in 2024.
