Craig Morgan Drops New EP Enlisted: Craig Morgan dropped his latest EP, “Enlisted,” on October 20, delivering a dose of gritty country music with an impressive lineup of guest appearances.
The six-track EP showcases vocal talents from Trace Adkins, Luke Combs, Gary LeVox, Jelly Roll, Blake Shelton, and Lainey Wilson.
Hailing from Tennessee, Craig Morgan, a country music staple and Army veteran, brings his chart-topping classics back to life in this new EP.
“Enlisted” gives a fresh twist to four of Morgan’s older hits, including “Almost Home,” “Redneck Yacht Club,” “Thats What I Love About Sunday,” and “International Harvester.” The EP also introduces two new tracks, “Raise the Bar” with Combs and “That Aint Gonna Be Me” with Adkins.
Noteworthy moments from the EP include Morgan’s twangy, foot-stomping rendition of the 2006 hit “International Harvester” alongside the rising star Lainey Wilson. Another standout is Morgan and Jelly Roll’s revamped version of the 2002 song “Almost Home,” previewed in an emotional performance on the Grand Ole Opry stage last year.
Expressing his joy in the creative process, Morgan stated, “Making this record has been so much fun because I got to get in the studio with some of my friends and also re-create some of my catalog in a way that feels like brand-new music.”
The EP’s title, “Enlisted,” resonates with Morgan’s recent enlistment in the U.S. Army Reserve. He took the oath onstage at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on July 29.

“Im excited to once again serve my country and be all I can be in hopes of encouraging others to be a part of something greater than ourselves,” Morgan shared. “I love being an artist, but I consider it a true privilege and honor to work with what I believe are the greatest of Americans, my fellow soldiers. God bless America. Go Army.”
After 17 years of service as a staff sergeant and fire support specialist, Morgan will now serve as a soldier in the Reserve while continuing his civilian career as a musician. His assignment will be at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama, a crucial U.S. Army facility.
In addition to his military commitment, Morgan stays active, launching his God, Family, Country Tour 2023 and releasing a memoir titled “God, Family, Country” last fall, co-written with Jim DeFelice, the author of “American Sniper.”
