The Seahawks drafted Collins in the fifth round of 2016 but released him the following year. But the Ravens quickly added him to their practice squad.
“It’s been a roller coaster of highs and lows,” Humphrey added, “but anything’s possible.”
The quarterback, Lamar Jackson, remembers his friendship with Collins, known as “AC” by the squad. Jackson’s first year on the team
“He and I had fun in the locker room,” Jackson remarked. Jackson was raised in Broward County, Florida, near Collins. His joy was contagious. This is heartbreaking for his family. He was unique.”
Collins’s never-say-die attitude on the field, said John Harbaugh. Harbaugh stated, “He wasn’t afraid to show off how well he could dance.” “He was fun to be around.”
After contemplating Collins’ death, Humphrey made a serious request: “I urge everyone to constantly tell their loved ones how much they mean to them. Unknown life events make the present more meaningful.”
