AGT Season18: Chibi Unity Receives Final Golden Buzzer in AGT

AGT Season18: Even a well-oiled machine like “America’s Got Talent” can have issues.

The Cuban balancing act couple Dadiva provoked Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Howie Mandel, and Heidi Klum to disagree during the last round of auditions. Their beautiful rolla bolla routine was disliked mainly by Cowell and Klum.

Klum said, “Usually when I love something a lot, I jump up and clap.” Since this didn’t happen, I’m not sure how I feel. “I’m sure it’s hard, but the result is dull.” Vergara and Mandel were impressed with the duo’s precision and agility. Mandel’s discussion was enhanced by considering how planned such an act would have to be.

Klum agreed with the others that Duo Dadiva should advance. The only judge that disagreed was Cowell.

Now let’s speak about more of the night’s best parts.

Donovan Diaz, a 20-year-old dancer, made heartfelt art. Diaz performed an incredible dance to Dean Lewis‘ “How Do I Say Goodbye” to honor his mother’s breast cancer battle. He did it to make his mother proud and said, “That’s my son.” He’s doing wonderfully.” Diaz’s performance moved the judges and audience. The audience cried, and judge Howie Mandel commented, “We weren’t just watching it; we were feeling it.”

Chilean clown Papayaso made people laugh by mimicking. His act altered when he made famous impressions like Jason Statham and Adam Driver. Papayaso’s bravery impressed the group, and Mandel exclaimed, “You are a moment, and you are a surprise.”

A sword-spinning routine by Taiwanese boxer Titos Tsai wowed the crowd. The judges were impressed by his swordsmanship. According to Klum, “You must have control over every part of your body to make those swords dance around you like that.”

Mandel lauded Chibi Unity’s synchronized footwork and electric intensity for elevating dance. The act was Vergara’s “perfect ‘AGT’ audition.”

The judges unanimously chose Chibi Unity for the Golden Buzzer and the “AGT” live events, which rarely happens.

Each act was a different brushstroke on “America’s Got Talent.”
