Revitalizing Remington: Huntsville’s Investment Sparks $30.5M New Beginnings

Huntsville’s Investment Sparks: The city of Huntsville has granted permits exceeding $30.5 million for developments at 1840 Remington Trail and 120 Electronics Boulevard. These permits, assigned to Twenty Lakes Holding, mark a significant step forward in the revitalization of the property. Twenty Lakes Holding, a Real Estate Investment and Management Company based in Connecticut, acquired the site for $25 million in 2021.

Kelly Schrimsher, the Communication Director for Huntsville, revealed that one of the buildings, valued at over $23 million, is slated to become a new speculative warehouse.

ARCO/Murray National, a key player in various notable Huntsville projects, including the $110 million Anthem House mixed-use development and the $108 million Wellory Living development in MidCity, is identified as the builder for both structures.

The former Remington Outdoors plant, inaugurated in 2014, served as both a manufacturing facility and corporate headquarters. To attract the company, Huntsville offered substantial incentives, with nearly $70 million invested. This included $8.5 million from Huntsville, $2 million from the Madison County Commission, and $1 million from the Huntsville Industrial Board.
