ROBERTSDALE, Ala. – Early holiday shoppers in Robertsdale had a chance to make a difference on Saturday at the seventh annual Baldwin County Boss Babes Holiday Market. Held at the Baldwin County Coliseum, this event featured over 100 vendors from across the South.
Attendees strolled through a vibrant array of tables, showcasing crafters, bakers, boutiques, and more. The market not only offered a variety of items for holiday shopping but also provided an opportunity for the community to come together and connect face-to-face.
Beyond the joy of a festive shopping spree, the event holds a deeper purpose. Every year, all proceeds are dedicated to supporting a specific nonprofit organization. In 2023, the chosen nonprofit is Stopping Traffick.
Breighanna Vigor, CEO of Stopping Traffick, expressed gratitude for being chosen this year. She shared, “We were fortunate enough to be the ones chosen for it. All the proceeds are going to survivor scholarshipsthose affected by human trafficking within the area.”
The market served as a platform not only for commerce but also for community engagement. Vigor highlighted the importance of reconnecting with the community, especially in the post-COVID era. She noted the fantastic turnout and the infectious Christmas spirit that permeated the event.
