Crossland’s physical traits were documented to aid in his identification: right-handed, 5’5″ tall, 139 lbs, with brown eyes and hair. But his tattoos were what made him stand out. He had tattoos all over, making him look unique.
Last seen in blue pants, dark grey hoodie, and dark T-shirt. As people lived their lives, they would remember this image and know that a violent person was still out there.
Detectives searched for Crossland, but many questions remained. Would he face additional charges? Why did he leave the San Antonio State Hospital, where he likely received care or treatment?
