San Antonio Student Filmmakers Shine: Creativity Unleashed!

San Antonio Student Filmmakers Shine: San Antonio students are displaying their artwork after weeks of learning to draw. It’s like making a cake and sharing it with loved ones.

Jireh White, one of these bright kids, will have his movie shown this week at the Carver Community Cultural Center. Imagine how it would feel if everyone saw your art. Feels great!

Jireh White said, “My experience was amazing.” Thanks for saying that.

The Eastside Youth Content Creators Program is for kids like them. It’s like a club for learning movie-making. What do you know? Since it’s free, they don’t need to pay to participate.

Alamo City Studios and San Antonio collaborated on this show. Teamwork is crucial, like collaborating on a school project with friends.

Deewayne Goodloe is in charge of the class. He teaches kids how to make movies. He said, “For 8 weeks, they experienced making a movie.” Start to finish. They learn all about making movies from start to finish.

10 short films made by local students will be shown. It’s like having a mini film festival with drama, comedy, and horror movies.

Goodloe said this program helps high school students explore new things quickly. Last year, some kids interned at this school. An internship is a brief job where you learn about a specific role. What do you know? Some movies were shown at film festivals, a big deal in the movie world.

The biggest movie show of the year is on Wednesday at 6 p.m., which is exciting! Guess what? No cost for entry. It’s like free tickets to the best show.

Jireh White has big goals. He hopes people will enjoy his movie and continue writing stories and taking pictures. Do you know what he likes for sure? Sure! He wants to act like your favourite TV star on stage and in movies.

That’s the end. These kids have learned much about making movies and want to showcase their work. Maybe one day, you’ll see their names on the big screen and say, “I read about them when they were starting out!”
