East Central High School: Investigating the Unnerving Call

East Central High School: One day, something scary happened at East Central High School. The Sheriff’s Office received a morning call about a school issue. It’s scary.

The East Central ISD head, Roland Toscano, said the school’s police received a call before classes began. The call was about a kid with gunshots in the background. Imagine how scary that must have been.

After the scary call, police officers and officials maintaining peace rushed to the school. They ensured everyone’s safety and prevented any harm.

After checking, there was no danger, which is good news. No one was shot or hurt. Both kids and adults were safe. That’s great!

Later, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office discovered what happened. The call came from somewhere other than the US. It came from elsewhere. The ring appeared to be made to scare people. Someone scared people intentionally.

This part is odd. The call was about a child who wasn’t at school. He skipped school. He was elsewhere. The Sheriff’s Office caught him briefly but released him. They believe it was a mean trick called “swatting.” That’s when someone makes a fake 911 call to send police to a place for no reason. It could be nicer to do.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating. They’re examining everything to prevent a recurrence.

Despite the absence of any actual danger, the school aimed to ensure everyone’s sense of safety. Parents could choose to pick up their children from school. Parents were instructed to park at the staff parking lot and walk to the Patterson Center to pick up their children.

Superintendent Toscano was displeased with the situation. He said it was very bad. It also criticized the person/people responsible for this intentionally. He said doing things like this wastes resources, like police officers and other important people who could be helping in actual cases. Many people also fear it. He urged the person responsible to deeply reflect on their actions, as it has caused significant harm to many individuals and communities.

Despite the scary day, everyone at East Central High School is safe, and the police are investigating the incident.
