Vincent had to close his coffee shop temporarily. It was too hot in the coffee shop, and nobody liked that. More people would sweat than enjoy drinks.
Things were worsening. Vincent waited weeks for the parts to fix his air conditioner. It was like waiting for your birthday, but the days felt like ages.
Now things get interesting. This was not only an issue for Vincent. Christopher Moore, an air unit fixer at Jon Wayne Service Company, was busy. They received twice the average number of phone calls.
Christopher mentioned the summer rush to fix air conditioners. It was too hot to make sense! By September, things were improving. The remaining summer work was being completed.
They didn’t fix things immediately but focused on “tune-ups.” It’s like prepping your bike before a long ride. Before winter, experts ensured the AC systems were safe and functional.
Guererro was glad his coffee shop stayed cool again. He’d do anything to keep his favourite shop open. He said, “I’ll do my best.” I’ll do my best. I want this place to be available to all.
