Ronald Acuña Jr Triumphs Over Fan Incident: During Monday’s game, Ronald Acua Jr. of the Atlanta Braves had a scary run-in with two fans that didn’t hurt him. Despite the issue, Acua had a great game. He matched his career highs with four hits and 5 RBIs. The Rockies lost to the Braves, 14–4. Acuna hit his 29th home run and stole two bases, giving him 61 stolen bases, the most in MLB. He needs one more home run to be the first player in MLB history with 30 home runs and 60 RBIs.

The fan incident occurred in the 7th inning, right after Atlanta took a 9-4 lead. A fan touched Acua, and security intervened. Another fan approached the band and was tackled. Acua stayed in the game since he wasn’t injured. “I was scared at first,” Acua said later. Kevin Pillar, a teammate, was glad fans weren’t mean, but he stressed they shouldn’t leave stands or touch players.

The Braves, with the best record at 85-45, had 18 hits. They’ve won their last four games and 10 of their last 13. ‘ loss guarantees a fifth straight season with a losing record of 49-82. Acua’s success puts him with Joe Morgan, Rickey Henderson, and Eric Davis, who hit 25+ home runs and stole 60+ bases in a season.

With 119 runs, Aqua scored on a Riley home run in the third inning and hit a two-run homer in the fifth. He stole bases from Evan Justice and Tommy Doyle, too. Manager Brian Snitker praised Acua’s incredible ability.

Pillar aided the Braves’ victory. He hit the ball in the air, and the runner scored, winning his team in the sixth inning. He also made a really impressive play by diving to stop the ball. Sean Murphy hit three doubles and scored a run to help the Braves win. This victory was their sixth in a row at Coors Field. Ryan McMahon hit a home run for the Rockies, but it wasn’t enough to stop them from losing to the Braves for the fifth time this season.
