Rainbow Bar And Grill and Ron Jeremy Face Lawsuit: Two women accused Rainbow Bar & Grill on Sunset Strip and adult film star Ron Jeremy. The bar allegedly knew about Jeremy’s sexual assault in 2017. The claimants allege that the bar enabled Ron Jeremy to drug women’s drinks and failed to protect its customers adequately.
According to papers, the plaintiffs claim that Rockin’ Horse, Inc., also known as the Rainbow Bar & Grill, was negligent in allowing Ron Jeremy into the business. They claim this carelessness caused the injuries and damages, including Jeremy’s sexual assault.
The lawsuit alleges Rainbow Bar workers knowingly assisted Jeremy in drugging women’s drinks. The papers also state that the bar created a “dangerous, sexualized, and hostile environment for female patrons.”
One Jane Doe mentioned a night when Jeremy asked a bartender for the “Ron Jeremy special.” After drinking the drink, she felt sleepy and couldn’t move her arms during the attack. The claimants allege that the Rainbow Bar & Grill knew about Ron Jeremy’s previous sexual assaults but still allowed him entry.
The lawsuit states that Ron Jeremy will face charges in 2021 for 34 counts of sexual abuse, including 12 counts of rape, involving 21 women over 20+ years. Jeremy pleaded not guilty to the charges. In January, Judge Ronald S. Harris ruled him mentally unfit for trial due to “incurable neurocognitive decline.”

The Rainbow Bar & Grill is a Hollywood staple. In the 70s and 80s, rock stars frequented the place. It’s where Alice Cooper formed the Hollywood Vampires, a group of celebrities who gathered to drink. Keith Moon, John Lennon, and Ringo Starr were in the group. Lemmy Kilmister, Motorhead’s leader, frequented the place.
The complaint displays reviews and pictures of Ron Jeremy’s frequent visits to the bar. At least five sexual attacks occurred at the Rainbow Bar & Grill. It also states the bar has a history of ignoring predatory behavior.
The plaintiffs seek penalties from Rainbow Bar & Grill and other defendants, with amounts to be determined. Neither the Rainbow Bar nor Ron Jeremy has responded to the accusations.
This case is a setback for the famous place, raising questions about venue safety measures. It adds another layer to accusations against Ron Jeremy, highlighting systemic negligence and alleged criminal activity. These are unproven claims. The Rainbow Bar & Grill and Ron Jeremy haven’t commented on the lawsuit.
