American Voters Backing Trump: Poll Data Points to Tough Road Ahead for Trump 2024 Ambitions

American Voters Backing Trump: According to The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research, 65% of American voters are either undecided or opposed to backing former President Donald Trump in the 2024 presidential election. This is unexpected since it reveals that Americans are undecided about supporting Trump.

The research participants are certain they will never vote for Trump if the Republicans nominate him next year. It was felt by 53% of poll respondents. 11% of respondents stated they would not vote for him in November 2024.

Even though Donald Trump is facing a 13-count indictment in Georgia for allegedly plotting to sabotage the 2020 election, his fourth indictment of the year and one of many ongoing civil cases, Republican voters still support him in the 2024 primary. His fourth charge of the year is one of many ongoing judicial disputes.

Despite the poll’s results, roughly 63% of Republican respondents wanted Trump to run again in 2024. In November 2024, 74% of Republican Party respondents said they would support Trump’s campaign.
