Get ready for Christmas on the Coosa, a 21-day winter wonder with ice skating starting on December 2nd.
Downtown Gadsden transforms with a 3,000 sq ft outdoor ice-skating rink, allowing up to 85 skaters aged 3 and above to enjoy a Rockefeller Center-like experience. The synthetic rink offers the charm of ice skating in warmer weather. Admission is $12, inclusive of specially designed skates. Skate helpers are available for an extra fee.
Hallmark movie-like in Gadsden
Its beginning to feel like a Hallmark movie is coming to Gadsden. We are inviting everyone to come experience ice skating over the Coosa River, and while youre here, you may want to visit Christmas at the Falls or take a carriage ride through downtown. - Historic Gadsden Carriage Tours, offering horse-drawn carriage rides through downtown

The ice rink operates:
- Monday to Friday: 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM
- Saturday: 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Sunday: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM
